It has been a while since I posted here, but please do not think I haven’t been expressing myself! On the contrary, my life is full of expression! The Easter season of love is upon us. Forgiveness is in the air. Hope is in the air. Grace is abundant, and I pray that fear of the unknown is diminishing. I can’t praise God enough! I read my poem, “Be Still and Know” as part of the Second Baptist Church (SBC) Good Friday ~Voices and Video Montage~ event. My audio excerpt will be posted separately as a video under my Media link. The hour-long SBC event is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qV4_WYeYh0
I am now a 2X bestselling author. My second book, Voices of the 21st Century, is an international #1 bestseller. I am honored to be in the company of 40 resilient women in this collaborative book. I know in my heart that our stories will touch and change many lives for the better.
April is National Poetry Month; I am a happy poet! Lisa Tomey of Prolific Pulse Poetry featured my book, Poetic Forecast, as the sendoff for this month’s celebrations. She shared her stellar review of my book, along with my reading of “What Matters,” as her first National Poetry Month post: https://anchor.fm/lisa-tomey/episodes/Poetic-Forecast-Book-Review-etvet3 In addition, the Prolific Pulse podcast featured my workshop with the Poet’s Connection entitled, “See Yourself in Others: Celebrate Them, Celebrate You.” You may click here to listen: https://anchor.fm/lisa-tomey/episodes/Poets-Connection-Workshop-with-Zan-Johns---See-Yourself-in-Others--Celebrate-Them--Celebrate-You-etv8em
These are recent glimpses of what makes me smile. I live with perpetual gratitude for all that I am, all that I have and all that I do! I am an endless conveyor of love and a welcoming receptacle for love!
